At the urging of many on the set, I'm going to try and update as much as possible
during production (without giving too much away of course!)
Today was the first day... I left toronto at a little after 6am, grabbed a iced
venti nonfat toffe nut latte from the local starby's and hit the road for hamilton.
(I'm in this emo/punk music phase right now so I listened to some Taking Back Sunday,
Finch and this new LA band the Dollyrots on my ipod on the way over...)
Getting to the set about 715AM, well, it was just amazing...to see everyone again,
to know that we would once again be rolling... "Auchmar" (the real name of the Blake
Holsey building) was alive again...very very cool...
The only "regular" cast members in today were Emma and Robbie, along with some guest
cast. We're shooting all three episodes at once (what they call "block shooting")
so there are quite a few days in the schedule where there are only a handful of
actors in. We shot some smaller scenes today to get started. There was a lot of
action in Z's office. Jeff King is directing all three eps and was his usual brilliant
self. Mitch is director of photography and a lot of the crew is back, as I said
before. It was just too much fun for all of us to be together again...
Within a few hours, we all agreed that it felt like we had never left. Almost two
years later, everyone just fell into their usual groove. By afternoon, everything
was clicking. I feel confident in saying the show hasn't missed a beat.
There's a lot more cast in tomorrow.... Emma, Michael, Jeff and Tony are all involved
in the action. Again, there's a lot of stuff in Z's office (make of that what you
will....)

в течение всего производства серий(не раскрывая слишком много секретов, конечно)
Сегодня был первый день... Я уехал из Торонто где-то после 6 часов утра
Добрался до места назначения к 7:15, ну, в общем, это был настолько удивительно
... видеть всех снова. "Auchmar" (реальное название здания Блэйка Холси)снова ожил...
очень очень клево ...
Единственными "регулярными" членами актерской группы сегодня были Эмма и Робби,
вместе с некоторыми пиглашенными актерами. Мы снимаем все три эпизода сразу, таким
образом получается, что иногда не все актеры задействованы в съемке, так что их
нет на площадке. Мы снимали некоторые незначительные сцены, чтобы начать. Снять
важное действие в кабинете Захари. Джеф Кинг - режиссер всех трех эпизодов. Митч
- главный оператор, многие из старой команды вернулись, как я уже говорил.
В течение нескольких часов всем нам казалось, что мы никогда не расставались. Прошло
почти два года с момента последних съемок, но каждый уже нашел свою колею. После
полудня мы все сняли. Я чувствую себя уверенным, говоря, что шоу ничего не потеряло

Shivers is right...I try to stay clear of spoilers. it's just not my place. It's
a fine line , however...trying to give information and keep people excited, but
to do it in a way that doesn't give away too much. I'm constantly second guessing
myself...should I say this or not? I usually try to err on the part of discretion...
So, like I said, aside from giving the broadest of ideas what conclusions will be
about, I'm hesitant to answer any specific questions. However...
I know a lot of people are curious about Radio, so let me say this...the content
of that episode does not play heavily into conclusions. If you're looking for clues,
the key episodes are Wormhole, Fate, Culture, Wormhole2, stopwatch, transference,
nocturnal, hologram, friction, past and of course inquiry. Did I leave anything
out that I mentioned before?
As I think I mentioned before, the end of season 1 was a difficult time for me and
there was a lot of creative disagreement about the direction of the show, so there's
a lot of stuff in the episodes Radio through Shrink that I'm not nuts about.
On other stuff...I make it a policy not to read fanfics. I'm afraid that if I do,
it will affect my writing and that wouldn't be right.

Если вы ищите ключевые эпизоды, то это несомненно, Wormhole, Fate, Culture,
Wormhole2, Stopwatch, Transference, Nocturnal, Hologram, Friction, Past
и, конечно, Inquiry. Ничего не пропустил? Я думаю, я уже упоминал,
что канец второго сезона был для меня очень сложным, было много разногласий в творческом

Day 2!
Well, day 2 of shooting was a smashing success. We captured some really great, unexpected
moments. Fans of the janitor will be particularly pleased. Tony really delivered
the goods today. In one scene, we were all surprised at where Tony went, but it
was perfect. Definitely another side of the janitor...
Tomorrow, we get Shadia and Noah in for the first time. Robbie and Michael are in
as well. We're also shooting outside for the first time. The first two days were
in the school. It rained a lot today and we lost power a few times, but the generator
kept us going. One especially intense scene with Emma had to hold off a little while
because the rain outside was too loud. Fortunately, it's supposed to be cooler tomorrow
and no rain for the outdoor scenes.
Well, it's after midnight in toronto so I better sign off...but first, another quote
from "conclusions" which was read in a scene shot today.
"there's got to be something else we can do. something we haven't thought of. You
don't have to do this."

День 2!
Иттак, второй день съемок прошел с ошеломительным успехом! Мы сняли несколько действительно
отличных, неожиданных моментов. Фанаты уборщика будут особенно рады. Тони
действительно сегодня был в ударе. В одной сцене мы были все удивлены, куда пошел
Тони, но это было идеально. Определенно другая сторона уборщика ...
Завтра, мы снимаем Шедию и Ноа первый раз впервые. Робби и Майкл находится здесь.
Мы также снимаем первый раз на улице. Первые два дня съемки проходили в школе. Сегодно
льет как из ведра, даже несколько раз отключали свет, но наш генератор на спасал.
Одну особенно трудную сцену с Эммой пришлось немного отложить, потому что звук дождя
все заглушал. К счастью, должно быть более прохладно завтра и не будет дождя...
Сейчас в Торонто заполночь. так что я ухожу из сети... но сначала еще одна цитата
из Conclusions

Well, I think I mentioned before that I was a huge Buffy fan. But because I was,
I'm conscious of not emulating it too much. Certainly you can see parallels in the
science club and the scooby gang, but I think that has been discussed at length
in another forum...
The gift is the season 5 ending episode of Buffy, correct? When Buffy "dies"...
Hmmm, interesting that you raise that... One thing you can take out of that, in
Conclusions, one of the characters is faced with with an impossible decision and
makes an enormous sacrifice...
As for other pop culture influences... probably Harry Potter, Star Trek:TNG and
Star Wars are the biggies for me...
Emma's Mom mentioned that she liked Dr. Who and drew some comparisions, but I'm
not very familiar with that series...I know it's a huge complement, however.
Mirrorcard is right about radio. I know it sounds like a copout, but it mentions
a science club generically and none of the members by name. We also don't know how
far in the future that mesaage might have come from. Also, as we know, the future
can change in a show where the characters have the ability to time travel. This
concept comes into play in a major way in "Conlusions"...after all, Inquiry was
all about how powerful this ability is and how potentially dangerous it is if it
is misused. Misuse of the time travel is a major theme in conclusions...

Gift - эпизод, заканчивающий пятый сезон Баффи, правильно? Когда Баффи "умирает"...
Мммм, интересно, что вы помните это... Новая информация, которую вы можете узнать,
это то, что в Conclusions перед одним изперсонажей стоят невозможное
решение и огромная жертва...
Что касается других шоу, влиявших на меня ... вероятно Гарри Поттер, Star
Trek:TNG и Звездные войны - важные шоу для меня ...
Мама Эммы упоминала, что она любила шоу Dr. Who, но я не очень знаком
с этим сериалом... но тем не менее это огромный комплимент
